Symptoms and Treatments of Impotence

Impotence is the most common sexual health problem found in the men. A man is said to impotent when he is unable to have a satisfactory intercourse and produce an offspring, and the condition is termed as impotence. More than 20 million men in the world suffer with the impotence either permanently or temporarily. Male impotence is further characterized into few more types known as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, scarcity of the sperms, and absence or mature sperms. Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is most commonly occurring type of the male impotence. Nearly 60% of the men throughout the world suffer with the erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction in always termed as impotence because the large number of men suffer with it. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve an erection or to maintain an erection or to be stiff enough for sexual intercourse.

Symptoms

The first and the foremost symptom of the erectile dysfunction is the failure of men to have an erection at any time, either during the masturbation or with a sex partner. The erection that men get is very soft and thus, the men are unable to have a successful intercourse. The inability to achieve orgasm is found before you suffer with the erectile dysfunction.

Treatments

Lots of treatments are available now to overcome the erectile dysfunction in men. Surgical treatments like penile implants, semirigid or malleable rod implants, inflatable implants, and vascular reconstructive surgery can be used to treat erectile dysfunction. The success rate of the surgical treatment is 65%. Non-surgical treatments like use of vacuum devices, oral drugs (Kamagra or Tadalis), penile injections, intraurethral pellet therapy, and hormonal therapy. The success rate is found to 85% of these treatments, and the best success rate is of oral drugs with more than 95%.

Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is defined as the condition when man has no control on his ejaculation and he ejaculates very fast even before the enough sexual stimulation. This disease is also termed as rapid climax, early ejaculation, and premature climax. Premature ejaculation can be caused by temporary depression, stress over financial matters, unrealistic expectations about performance, a history of sexual repression, or an overall lack of confidence.

Symptoms

Recurrent ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on, or shortly after penetration. Failure in doing penetration. Incapable to hold the erection because the ejaculation takes place too early.

Treatments

Sexual therapy is the best and easy method to cure premature ejaculation. Masturbating an hour before the sexual activity, so the ejaculation is naturally postponed. Squeeze technique in which you need to squeeze the head of the penis when you feel the verge of ejaculation. Antidepressants, anesthetic creams, and also psychotherapy are also used to overcome premature ejaculation.

Scarcity of Sperms

Less amount of sperms are found to be produced in some men because of the hormonal imbalance or the genetical problems. Sometimes even too much lose of sperm done by masturbation is also found to be the cause of the scarcity of sperms.

Symptoms

Improper growth of the sexual organs. Less growth is observed in the body hairs. Lack of sexual desire. Inappropriate development of testis. Less or no ejaculation of the fluid after the sexual orgasm.

Treatments

Most difficult type of the impotence to treat. Scarcity of the sperms can be treated, but the success rate is only 35%. The most important thing is to do a proper and balanced diet to increase the sperm count. Medicines are also available in the market, but take them only after the doctor’s advice.

Absence of Mature Sperms

Absence of the mature sperms is being noted only in the 5% men from allover the world. Sperms are developed in these men, but due to some hereditary factors and also due to Down’s Syndrome these men fail to produce the mature sperms.

Symptoms

The fluid that is ejaculated after the orgasm is found to be very thin and transparent due to the absence of mature sperms. Failure to get the strong and rigid erection. Sexual organs not well developed, the length of penis is found to less than 2 inches when erect.

Treatments

Mostly this type of impotence in non-curable. Very few cases are there who are able to develop the mature sperms when they are suffering with this problem. There are some medications available in the market but are not that much useful. The success rate of these medications in less that 20%. But, there is no need to worry about this disease because only 1 out of millions suffers with it.
